Terms of Service

1. Contracting Party & Scope

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the RCONductor platform ("Service") operated by:

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Service Description

RCONductor is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that enables Discord-based remote administration of FiveM and RedM game servers via the RCON protocol. The Service includes:

  • A Discord bot with slash commands for server management
  • A web panel for configuration, billing, and analytics
  • Encrypted storage and execution of RCON commands
  • Live data panels and event-driven automation

RCONductor is an independent third-party service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Discord Inc., Cfx.re (FiveM/RedM), or Rockstar Games. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

3. Account & Contract Formation

A binding contract is formed when you:

  1. Authenticate via Discord OAuth2,
  2. Accept these Terms of Service, and
  3. Optionally subscribe to a paid plan via Stripe.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service (Art. 8 GDPR). You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to manage game servers you do not own or have authorization to administer;
  • Send automated mass RCON commands without legitimate administrative purpose (flooding/DoS);
  • Circumvent rate limits through technical means (proxy rotation, token sharing, multiple accounts);
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the proprietary source code of RCONductor or the Lua game server resource;
  • Share your account credentials or RCON credentials with unauthorized third parties;
  • Use the Service for illegal activities or to process data without a legal basis;
  • Abuse the Discord bot to send spam, violate Discord Community Guidelines, or circumvent Discord systems;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our infrastructure;
  • Use profane, offensive, or misleading names for slash commands or bot configurations.

4.1 Fair Use

Each subscription plan includes technical usage limits (rate limits, server count, command frequency) as documented on our pricing page. Users who consistently exceed 3× the average usage of their plan tier may be contacted and asked to upgrade.

4.2 Abuse Response

Upon detection of abuse, we reserve the right to:

  • Temporarily block requests (up to 24 hours);
  • Suspend the account (up to 30 days);
  • Terminate the contract with immediate effect (§ 314 BGB).

In case of termination due to proven abuse, no refund of previously paid fees is owed.

5. RCON Credentials

RCON passwords and server addresses you provide are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. We implement the following safeguards:

  • Credentials are never logged in plain text or exposed in error messages;
  • Encryption keys are stored separately from encrypted data;
  • Credentials are immediately deleted when the server configuration is removed.

You remain solely responsible for the security of your game servers. We recommend using dedicated RCON passwords that are not reused across other services. In case of suspected compromise, change your RCON password immediately in both the web panel and on your game server.

6. Subscription & Payment

All displayed prices are in Euros and include applicable VAT (currently 19% in Germany). Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. under their own terms.

6.1 Billing Cycle

  • Monthly plans: Billed every 30 days from the subscription start date.
  • Yearly plans: Billed annually at a 10% discount compared to monthly billing.

6.2 Right of Withdrawal (Consumers)

As a consumer within the EU, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of contract formation (§§ 355 ff. BGB). Because the Service is made available immediately upon subscription, you expressly consent to the Service starting before the withdrawal period expires and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal once the Service has been fully provided.

6.3 Cancellation

  • Monthly plans: Cancel anytime; effective at the end of the current billing period.
  • Yearly plans: Cancel before renewal; no pro-rata refund for the remaining term (except within the withdrawal period).

6.4 Price Changes

We may adjust prices with at least 30 days' advance notice via email. If you do not object within 14 days of notification, the new prices apply. If you object, the subscription ends at the current price at the end of the current billing period.

6.5 Payment Default

If payment fails (e.g., expired card), we may suspend the Service after 5 days of non-payment. Data is retained for 30 days after suspension, then permanently deleted if no payment is received.

7. Liability

  1. We are fully liable for damages caused by intent or gross negligence, as well as for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health, regardless of the legal basis.
  2. For simple negligence, we are liable only in the event of a breach of a material contractual obligation (cardinal obligation) whose fulfilment is essential to the proper performance of the contract and on whose compliance you may regularly rely. In such cases, liability is limited to the foreseeable, typically occurring damage.

8. Third-Party Dependencies

The Service depends on third-party APIs (Discord API, FiveM/RedM protocol, Stripe). Changes to these APIs that require adaptation of the Service do not entitle you to damages or extraordinary termination, provided we implement the adaptation within a reasonable timeframe.

9. Data Protection

Details on data collection, processing, and your rights under GDPR are provided in our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms with at least 30 days' advance notice via email or a prominent notice in the web panel. If you do not object within 14 days of notification, the updated Terms are deemed accepted. If you object, the contract ends upon the effective date of the new Terms; a pro-rata refund of the subscription fee is available upon request.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). Mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence remain unaffected.

For merchants and legal entities, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that most closely reflects its economic purpose.
